As December Falls Interview

Nottingham based, four piece, pop punk band, As December Falls kicked off their UK tour last week in none other than Glasgow’s Cathouse & I got to head over to catch up with Bethany (who was on vocal rest ahead of the show), Ande, Timmy & Lukas in their dressing room before they took to the stage…

The band bounced onto the stage following support from Led by Lanterns & The Tyne, and kicked off their hour long set with ‘Go Away’ – a single released earlier this year. Filling their set with classic fan favourites, a My Chemical Romance cover (which went down swimmmmingly with the catty crowd), and a brand new, unheard before track, the time flew in.

Bethany’s fan interaction is second to none, as is her stage presence. Bouncing on and off the stage into the crowd at the barrier & posing for photos mid-set when spotting cameras pointed at her; a dream of a front woman from any fan’s point of view!

The band tore through their set with ease, making screaming guitar solos look effortless & matching the energy the crowd was throwing back on stage to them.

They left the stage for the first time to chants of ‘one more tune,’ with fans clearly not ready for the show to be over, and rightly so. Coming back to the stage for a two song encore pacified the sold out venue, however there was definitely an all round feeling that the crowd would willingly have stayed to watch As December Falls control the Cathouse stage all night long.
