Having been around for more than ten years now, award winning Stanley Odd are a key part in the Scottish hip hop scene. They took a wee break to focus on their ‘outside’ lives, but they’re back for 2020, and as big as ever. ‘Where They Lie’ is the first release from upcoming new album, ‘Stay Odd,’ but you’re going to have to wait until September to hear the rest of it!
‘Where They Lie’ is released to the world tomorrow (Friday, 24th Jan) and is a punchy single that will grab your attention instantly. It is exactly what you need from Stanley Odd; straight talking lyrics, unreal production and the dying need to hit ‘repeat’ when you get to the end of the track.
“Truth is dead, fact is fiction and honesty is a myth” is the basis of the whole thing – it’s an honest track about lies in today’s society.
